Following the announcement of their new Xai laser mouse, Steelseries have revealed another one – the Steelseries Kinzu optical mouse.
It is based on the same ambidextrous design as the Xai but is 7% smaller in size. The Kinzu’s optical sensor is capable of processing 9,375 frames/second at up to 3,200 CPI, and the polling rate can be adjusted between 125 and 1000hz (1ms response time). The optical sensor works at speeds of up to 50 inches/second and 20G of acceleration.
It makes do without the Xai’s LCD display and menu system, but this lower specification is represented in the price – the Kinzu will cost a modest $35.
