It’s been hotly anticpated for some time now, but Starcraft II will eventually be with us in early 2010. When it does arrive, it will be accompanied by a new line of Razer accessories aimed squarely at Starcraft fans.
Razer have announced that they are developing a special range of StarCraft II peripherals and accessories including mice, keyboards, and headsets. The new peripherals will have ‘exclusive features’ for Starcraft II players, although what those features will include remains a mystery.
For now the only items that have been confirmed are the accessory range, and they will include a series of messenger bags, backpack and E-Sport Pro Gamer Cases for the game. The first messenger bag will be displayed at the BlizzCon gaming convention on August 21 – 22, to be held at the Anaheim Convention Center.
This could be a good business move by Razer as the original Starcraft is still massively popular in some Asian countries, particularly Korea, where tournaments are televised. Here’s hoping that Razer are serious about designing new gear and these new peripherals are not just existing items with Starcraft logos printed on them (like the Guild Wars Deathadder).
