Hot on the heels of the special Maelstrom edition of the Razer Naga comes this, the Razer Naga Molten edition.
Like the Maelstrom edition, the Naga Molten features a striking pattern on the top of the mouse. In this case it’s a glowing cracked surface design that makes the most of the Molten’s new red backlighting. Other features remain the same as the standard Naga and the Naga Maelstrom edition:
- 17 Fully-programmable buttons (including 12 button thumb grid)
- 5600dpi Razer Precision 3.5G Laser Sensor
- 1000Hz poll rate / 1ms response time
- Optional MMO-specific software add-0ns
- Unlimited character profiles with add-ons
The Naga Molten will available to buy from November at the same price as the standard Naga – $79.
How long will you leave the info on the site of a Malestrom Naga Mouse by Razer, when it is not even made. I knew almost immediately when they were not going to made it by just emailing “RazerGuy” and he said that they had trouble with a supplier to make it. Why couldn’t you find that out rather than making the gaming community think that something is coming out over 8 months ago. It’s hard to put faith in a site that doesn’t even know what is going on in the gaming products community and claiming being an authority of gaming products.
Sorry Jim, but I don’t have the time to check whether every press release from every gaming manufacturer is still valid after a few months. Razer announced this mouse with an official press release on their website complete with full high-def pictures and quotes from ‘RazerGuy’ about how cool they were. If Razer are daft enough to announce a mouse that they can’t even make then that’s their problem. I think you’ll find this is not the only site to have fallen foul on this story and subsequently missed out on the news scoop that you’ve uncovered.
