There’s a new headset available for PC gamers in the form of the Plantronics GameCom 777.
The GameCom 777 is a USB headset that features its own built-in soundcard to create virtual 5.1 surround sound through Dolby Pro Logic II technology. It includes a microphone for in-game communication that uses noise-cancelling technology to improve sound quality, and can also be rotated out of the way when not in use.
The USB soundcard is built into the cable and features volume controls and a mute button for the microphone.
The Plantronics Gamecom 777 is available for a retail price of $99.99.
