MSI Launches GX620 and GX720 Gaming Laptops

Two new laptops have entered the gaming arena – the MSI GX620 and MSI GX720.

Both systems are housed in a stylish black case that features red highlights. Targeted at gamers, they feature a choice of Intel Core 2 Duo processors and up to 4GB of DDR2 memory.

The main difference betrween the two laptops is the size of the screen. The GX620 comes with a 15.4-inch screen, while the GX720 has a bigger screen measuring 17-inches. Powering the graphics that appear on those screens is an NVidia 512MB GeForce 9600M GT.

On top of that you also get an optional Blu-ray drive, a 320GB SATA hard drive, Wi-Fi connectivity as well as Gigabit ethernet.

One of the clever features of the GX620/GX720 is a series of touch-sensors at the top of the keyboard. These are used to control both the MSI Turbo Drive Engine and the ECO Engine Management. The Turbo Drive Engine can be used to boost processor power by as much as 15%, giving that extra bit of performance in games, while the ECO Engine can be used to prolong battery life with up to five different settings.

  • I must say, I could not agree with you in 100%, but it?s just my opinion, which indeed could be wrong.
