Mechanical Tumour Grows With CPU Strain

There’s a part of me that thinks the following video is seriously disturbing, yet at the same time quite cool.

What you see here is not some strange bio-mechanical interface for powering a PC, but a mechanical tumour that acts as a CPU monitor. As the load on the CPU intensifies the incredibly realistic looking tumour grows, and when the CPU goes quiet our ugly little friend shrinks again.

Yes, it’s technically useless and yes, it is hideous to look at … but deep down you know you want one hanging out of your PC case!
