Roccat Kone – Don’t Believe It’s Released Until You See It

So my Roccat Kone gaming mouse is not going to be arriving this month, as it looks like the release date has been pushed back again.

According to the Roccat website:

“The rescheduled release of our first product, the ROCCAT Kone Gaming Mouse, has been worthwhile. We have been able to improve the mouse immensely over the past few months: it’s not just surface sampling precision that has been increased; the light system has been decisively optimized once again as well. World premiere: April.”

Hopefully this is just marketing speak for “we’re really testing the Kone and making sure it’s perfect before we release it”.

The stock status of the Roccat Kone at Komplett is now showing as expected on 22nd April 22nd May. I’m not going to hold my breath that it will arrive anywhere near that date as this is the second third time the release date has been pushed back, so it would be daft to say it won’t happen again.

Add to that the disappointment of there being no sign of my Saitek Cyborg keyboard and it’s not turning out to be a good month for new gaming hardware releases!
